Here's some testimonials from ecstatic users of 'ezywalk'...

“WOW!  This is really helping. I started with the first couple of walks, and am now up to about 20 minutes a day.  My weight has stabilized, so I’m really looking forward to using the full program to start losing weight.  I also feel so much better.  Thank you.”

Gillian Strassman
Connecticut, USA

“You were right.  I did think this sounded too easy.  But, because you offered a guarantee I decided to try it.  Monique is great.  I found the way she guides me thru the walk to be really motivating.  And it’s such a good pace.  I’ve been using ‘ezywalk’ for 3 weeks now.  Next week, I’ll be using the whole program.

Anne Beecham
London, UK

"I've found this is a great way to get to 10,000 steps a day. This half hour or so of walking means I get about 3000 steps into my day - about double what I used to with my regular activities. I'm certainly on the right track."

Daniel Blackett
Rockhampton, Australia

“I’ve walked before but not really with any purpose.  I found that the music in ‘ezywalk' was just so good to walk to.  The spoken guide and extra exercises are really good too, so with the music it’s a really enjoyable way to walk.  Even my husband has noticed I’m ‘looking a bit slimmer’.  Thanks."

Tanya Dwyer
San Diego, USA

"Using the 'ezywalk' audio has really helped me. I used to always have trouble keeping up with regular exercise, but now having someone to motivate me and have short, easy to reach goals everyday makes it fun - and I'm now in a regular routine."

Janette Phillips
Perth, Australia

“My wife showed me your website.  I wanted to get rid of my pot belly.  But after using the audio for a few weeks, I’m also noticing my breathing is less labored and I’m coping a bit better at work.  The belly is slowly decreasing as well.  This is a good way to get into a good habit.  Will let you know when I go down another size on my jeans!

Seth Goodwin
Ohio, USA

"We have a walking club at work.  When we were told about 'ezywalk', I thought it would be interesting to try.  My fitness has really improved by walking to the music.  Now a lot of club members use it in the morning before they come to work, so they’re really getting 10,000 steps a day very easily.  Great stuff”.

Belinda Hayes
C M Walking Group
Brisbane, Australia

"I was a typical 30-something! Tired, grumpy and just not happy. When I decided to do something about it, exercise looked like the first place to start. I hadn't really done any since school. I tried jogging first, but found it too hard, so then I started using this program.

Having someone motivate you is great, and it works in with my schedule. Even if I only do it 3 or 4 times a week, I still notice how much better I feel. And, it's a lot cheaper than having a personal trainer everyday".

Bronwen McCracken
Gladesville, Australia

Dear Reader,

This may come as a shock, but what you're looking for IS possible. Although no 'magic pill' exists, you're about to find out about the next best thing.  If you're a diabetic or heart patient you should keep reading...

How would you like to lose weight, drop a clothe size or two, get your friends jealous because you look so good and begin to really enjoy life again?

Would you like to know how can you eat three full meals every day and still have the good looking, healthy body you want?

Yes? Then this is the most important information you’ll ever read.  You see, the answer is simple.  And it doesn't involve getting on the diet 'roller-coaster'.  I'm proof that you can easily get into a good habit of daily activity, that will improve your health and help you lose weight.

Even if you’re lazy like me, you can do something about your weight, and the solution is based on a few secrets that are rarely spoken about…

  • Energy in equals energy out

  • How it's all about habit

  • It's got to be fun

You’ll find out what I mean by these shortly, but first, let me tell you why I had to create the ‘ezywalk’ audio program.  I needed a simple, yet extremely effective,  lazy way to change my bad activity habit - something that would be suitable for anyone, anytime, and just about anywhere.

Let’s face it, for me, ‘ezywalk’ is a lifesaver.  Considering the statistics for obesity and diabetes, I'm sure many, many others can benefit from this as well.

You see, a little over a year ago (March 2004) I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes.  At present I can control it with exercise and diet.  But for someone who likes their soda’s and candy; was a little overweight and oh, not fond of activity, this wasn't news that I wanted to hear.  But the alternative was medication, which I am determined to delay as long as I can.

Make no mistake.  I know the very harmful effects Diabetes can have on your body.  My mother has suffered from the disease for close to fifty years.  Can you imagine watching your mother go through the agony of a leg amputation, failing kidneys and eyesight?   (My mum died in November 2005 from kidney failure, and out of 5 siblings, 4 of us have diabetes - some are on medication and insulin).

So you can see I had motivation to turn my life around and start looking after my health.  Did I really have to change my lifestyle that much?  I had to take control.  But how to do it?

Then I got to thinking…

a lot of what I was doing that was bad for my health was routine and plain bad habits.  I’d have a coke with lunch.  Biscuits at coffee break, candy and chocolate – well, whenever (can you relate to that one?)  And exercise was something I only thought about.

I realized that these were simply bad habits that I’d developed without thought over many years.

You know, like driving the same way to work everyday, or shopping at the supermarket in the same direction everytime.  These habits just develop, we don't do it consciously, the habits - good or bad - just evolve over time.

What I needed was a way to slowly develop a good habit for activity.  Some way to do it that would stay with me, be enjoyable and wouldn't give me 'workout-burnout', like some of the gym things I'd tried before.  And, it couldn't cost much.  In short, I needed a way to get active that would not give me ANY excuses at all not to do it.

The following results are what I achieved with this walking program you'll find out a bout further on. Of course, I can't guarantee you'll do the same, in fact, you may well do better.  But if you're the least bit interested, then you should keep reading because I reveal how...

  • I've shed 13 pounds (and kept them off)

  • I've slashed 2 sizes off my jeans

  • I've lowered my blood glucose levels from around 10mmol/L (180mg/dL)  to around 6.8mmol/L (120mg/dL)

Now I’m going to let you in on one of those secrets I mentioned earlier...

When you have a bad habit, the absolute worst thing you can do
is try to break it.

What am I saying ?!?!

Well, the best way to stop the bad habit is to replace it with a good habit.  So how easy can replacing a bad habit be? Well, do it slowly and surely -that's the REAL trick - and before you know it, the bad, negative habit gives way to a good, positive, life enriching habit.  And guess what?  Doing this is so easy with the right help.  I’ll tell you how it works in a moment, but let me explain the ‘energy in equals energy out’ factor first.

Most foods and drinks have a certain amount of energy, in the form of calories.  When we eat and drink them, the energy is stored in our bodies ready for use.  If we don’t use all the energy, our body stores it away for the future.  And here’s where the problem starts.

If we don’t use that stored energy AND we keep putting more energy in, that’s how we put on weight and get ugly, life-threatening fat.  So, the only way to lose this weight is to use up the energy.

I don’t know about you, but I didn’t like to exercise because I was lazy.  Yet another problem the ‘ezywalk’ program solves for you.  Now you can ease yourself into walking by starting with a little and then building on that.  No big ‘bootcamps’ of heavy, bone-jarring exercise.  Just a proven way to get you into a good habit with simple, easy and non-strenuous activity.  (And the biggest surprise is this... after just a few days, you will really begin to enjoy your walks, even look forward to them.  I'm serious. You'll feel better and energized for a number of reasons - but I digress!)

It's as simple as this...

as you start slowly, and gradually increase your walk over 6 weeks - by following the

'EZYWALK  6-week challenge'.

You'll discover more about this breakthrough program a little further onBut for now, let's look at more about energy (Calories and Kilojoules), and what it has to do with weight gain and Obesity.

Obesity can destroy your life. Diabetes, Heart Disease and Stokes are just some of the life-threatening complications of obesity.  On the other hand, if you discover what to do to avoid obesity, your life will be so much better.

Here's the biggest secret of all...

If you think you have to go to the gym 4 hours everyday, pump weights and jog 40 miles to lose weight and improve your health – you'll be very happy to hear me say you're wrong and that 'ezywalk' makes it so much easier for you.

You see, all you have to do is walk!  That’s right.  The easiest way to lose weight and dramatically improve your health is to get in the good habit of walking most days of the week, then keep up the habit.  Apart from getting your body moving, you use the energy from the food you eat when you walk!

Here are just 10 compelling reasons why you should be walking...

You'll control your weight (won't your friends be jealous?)

You'll look healthy and fresh

You'll control your blood sugar levels (and make your body's own insulin work better, if you have Type II Diabetes)

Your heart and blood circulation will improve, reducing your chances of heart disease

Lower your cholesterol and blood pressure, reducing your risk of hypertension and stroke

Increase your strength and ease of movement

Reduce stress

Get on your way to 10,000 steps a day (more about this important recommendation below)

Just feel so GOOD about yourself, 'ezywalk' puts some FUN into your day

You'll have more energy, be able to play with the kids or pets and generally cope better

10 great reasons to walk a little every day.  How many more can you think of?

So isn’t it time you went from un-fit to un-fat?

Obesity has quickly become the plague of the 21st Century.

With links to major diseases such as heart attack, diabetes, hypertension, stroke and arthritis.

These are all very painful and in most cases, life threatening diseases.  So shouldn’t you be looking at ways to prevent obesity right now?  Not next week or next month. I should have taken notice of my bad habits earlier, now I'm paying the price.  Please, please learn from my mistake.

I found it tough going just carrying a few extra pounds.  There's no way I want to suffer through some of these other harmful diseases if I can reduce that risk significantly just by making a habit of walking for a short time most days of the week.  Would you agree with that?

Further down you’ll read some articles from authorities regarding the very urgent need to get some activity into your life - or face the consequences.

Now you’re probably wondering…’how easy is it to walk to lose weight?’

Well, have you heard about the 10,000 steps a day philosophy?  This is based on the fact that walking around 10,000 steps every day burns enough calories to keep us healthy.  However, with our current lifestyles, we are only walking around 3,000 steps all day.

Most of us can increase the number of steps we walk everyday with just our normal activities - and by adding in around a half hour of dedicated walking.

You see, humans haven’t really evolved that much.  Our bodies still think we are ‘hunter-gatherers’, who walk around the forest all day looking for food.  Evolution hasn’t caught up with the fact that we mostly have jobs that require us to sit most of the time. Technology means we don’t even have to get up to change channels on the TV anymore.

So for our bodies to function properly, they are still expecting at least some minimal movement through the day.  And that’s where the 10,000 steps come in.

This is the amount of activity that’s been Internationally recognized as what’s required to stay healthy.

And by only taking 3000 steps each day, this means we aren’t using all the energy we’re taking in with food, so that’s why we get fat, unfit and increase our risk of disease.

(That’s why pedometers are being used to help people monitor the amount of walking they do every day.  These devices count your steps as you walk.)

OK.  So now you know why you should be walking.  Let me now show you the program I developed that got me into the good habit of walking.

‘ezywalk’ is the guided and encouraging walking class in your headphones – anytime and anywhere you want.

It's as easy and simple as this...

You simply listen to the recordings as you walk.

‘ezywalk’ is a fully guided walking exercise audio program, written and presented by professional, qualified fitness instructors.  It's so good that Diabetes Australia (NSW) are supporting this program.

There are 11 tracks in total of about 3 minutes each.  You can build up to the complete program by following the simple 6-Week challenge. (see below)

The tracks, along with the spoken guidance from your instructor, are set to certain music tempos.  When you walk to the tempos, you’ll get many fitness and health benefits, because walking in time to the music gets your heart pumping a little harder, which

  • burns your fat and calories,

  • improves your fitness and

  • improves the way insulin works in your body.

Some tracks also have optional arm and leg movements that you can include as you choose.

You can listen to ‘ezywalk’ on an MP3 player (such as an iPod), which has the added bonus of not skipping when jostled, like some CD players can.

The program also comes complete with a full color booklet showing you the correct way to walk for the exercises and the correct stretching techniques.  (There's a guided cool-down section with stretches).  I also provide you with follow-up emails for support as you use the program, for 6 weeks.

Leading World health authority now supports 'ezywalk'...

In fact, this program is so effective that one of the world's leading authorities on diabetes: Diabetes Australia (NSW) is now supporting the program for use in their diabetes education and management programs.

And more exciting news...

Scott Ehler, who co-wrote the 'ezywalk' program has just been awarded 'Australian Fitness Professional for 2005 and 2006, by Fitness Australia

The 'ezywalk' program is presented by Monique Levis, who is a qualified and professional fitness instructor.  Monique guides you through each part of the program, giving you motivation and inspiration to take things at your own pace and develop as you proceed.  Our goal is to keep you walking, not to let you 'burn out' and fallout after a few days.

Now, are you ready to use the 'ezywalk'
6-week Coaching Program?

How to get and keep the good habit of walking daily -
step by step over 6 weeks.

I know how hard it can be to either start an activity or to restart  exercising after some time off.  That's the reason I turned the 'ezywalk' program into a '6-week challenge'.  To ease you into a routine - a good habit - of walking.

I'm sure you'll agree there's nothing worse than going flat out at something only to end up tired and sore after a few days.  That's not the goal here.

At the end of the 6 weeks, you'll be using the whole program when you walk.  You'll be energized, happy and lighter.

'ezywalk' is designed for you to start slowly and build up to the full program.  See how simple and easy it is to start losing weight and feel great again with your simple and lazy challenge program...

Week 2 3/4/9/10 12 mins 7 mins 19 mins 1.3 plus alertness
Week 3 3/4/7/9/10 17 mins 7 mins 24 mins 1.7 plus improved well-being

Week 6 3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 30 7 mins 37 mins 2.6 plus more of all the above

To help you make a good habit of walking, the ‘ezywalk’ program lets you start slowly and develop to 30 minutes of walking, so you gradually build yourself upto the recommended amount of activity per day, with fun and motivation.

It's this easy!  You'll be able to achieve this program because it's designed for you to start slowly and gradually build your activity at a rate that suits you.

From week 7 on, you'll be into a fantastic routine and good activity habit.  Believe it or not, you'll be looking forward to your walk each day.

You can continue to use the program each day, walk to and from your park before you use 'ezywalk', or get some variety into your activity through the week.

You might try 'ezywalk' 3 days a week and swim or cycle another 2-3 days.

We'll also let you know when the next series is available, so you can add more variety to your current walk, or take your intensity to the next level.

There are two very important notes here:

  1. You can use this program at your own pace – walk for a few minutes then slowly add more tracks to your walk day by day.

  2. You only pay once!  Unlike Personal Trainers or gyms where you have to pay each time you use them.

So ‘ezywalk’ not only gets you into a good habit of walking, but it can add around 3000 steps into your daily activity.

So how far is 10,000 steps?

Well, an average person would walk around 3000 steps in 30 minutes (going for a walk in the park, for example).

If you drive to work, sit down at a desk most of the day, drive home and just potter around the house, you’re probably only walking around 3000 steps every day.

The Surgeon General recommends having 30 minutes of activity most days of the week.  This should be enough to reduce your risk for disease, and will also help you to have a longer and healthier life.

And nothing is simpler than getting into the good habit of walking around 30 minutes most days of the week.

How many steps do you need to walk every day?

Here are some rough targets:

For long term health and reduced chronic disease risk: 10,000 steps a day
For successful, sustained weight loss: 12,000 - 15,000 steps a day
To build aerobic fitness: Make 3,000 or more of your daily steps fast

So, looking at this way, you’ll see yourself progress with around an extra 500 steps; then another 500 (this would mean you walk for around 15 minutes a day), then simply include more tracks at around 500 steps at a time.

This slow and sure method makes a good habit of walking for you.  You’ll also start to notice that you begin looking forward to your walks.  Believe it or not, but this is a proven fact.  It’s because the exercise releases hormones called ‘endorphins’.  Put simply, endorphins make you feel good!

Here's a quote form Dr John Acquviva, Assistant Professor of Health and Human Performance at Roanoke College in the USA.

"Exercise also releases endorphins that bring a eurphoric feeling.  This euphoria can enhance overall mood and mental outlook.

Engaging in an exercise program provides a feeling of accomplishment and this feeling of succeeding in goals can lead to increased self-esteem".

The brain releases these hormones whenever we get active. And walking the ‘ezyfit’ program gets you active.  Once you get the wonderful  ‘endorphin rush’, you won’t look back.

Now, once you have the good habit and you’d really like to accelerate your weight loss, then why not walk to your local park and use the ‘ezywalk’ program there?  Walking there and back could add another 500 to 1000 steps into your day.  This would take around 10 - 15 minutes longer and means you’ll use more energy, which means you’ll promote weight loss and get fitter and release more wonderful endorphins.

Of course, there are many ways to lose weight and get healthy.  So what's different about 'ezywalk?

Gym memberships and Personal Trainers can be very expensive.  Now don’t get me wrong, these can be great if you stick to the programs, but the cost can be prohibitive.

Personal Trainers usually want you to ‘bootcamp’ your way to military type fitness.  Don’t they understand that’s not what we want?  How many of us need to be that fit? After a couple of days, you’re exhausted and looking for any excuse to quit – then before you know it, the bad habits have a complete control over you once again.

Now you could also try to get into walking on your own.

But what I’ve found is that we all need a little encouragement when we start to change habits.  That’s part of the magic of ‘ezywalk’.  The program gives you this much needed encouragement, guidance and motivation each time you use it.  It works like a charm.

You’ll also receive motivational emails for 6 weeks after you start the program.  From my own experience, I know it’s hard to keep going, so I provide this very valuable service as part of the complete package.

When you listen to ‘ezywalk’ you’ll hear that each track has different music at different tempos. That’s to give you good cardio activity for your heart, which improves your fitness.

Remember, you build up to this level of fitness.  Especially if you haven’t exercised for a while.  The program is designed to help you progress into a good habit – slowly and surely – not burn you out in the first few days.

I want you to do this for the rest of your life because it’s that important.  Let’s face it, for me, ‘ezywalk’ is a lifesaver.  Considering the statistics for obesity and diabetes, I'm sure many, many others can benefit from this as well.

Now think of what it would cost you for a few months trying to get active without ‘ezywalk’.

Say, three months gym membership: $300,  or a personal trainer twice a week: $120.

Read further and you’ll discover that dollar-for-dollar, the ‘ezywalk’ audio program is exceptional value. And you’ll be very pleased to know that it’s just a fraction of the costs of the alternatives, while providing a much more encouraging way to simply get into a good activity habit effortlessly.

Now it’s your turn to take advantage of this powerful, practical program.  ‘Ezywalk’ beats the pants off having to exercise hard!

When I started my research into the concept for ‘ezywalk’, I really didn’t know if it was possible to do.  So I started asking questions of qualified trainers and medicos.  I figured these experts would know the proven answers.

This research led me to the fitness professionals who wrote the program to my specifications, and then to Monique, who uses her expertise to present the program for you in an extremely effective motivational and friendly style.

We then started to record and trial the tracks to make sure the music was the correct tempo and importantly, made you feel good and want to walk.  Cardio and Diabetes educators were consulted along the way to ensure the program would be highly beneficial to users.

After some fine-tuning, we had the tracks in a format that works to have you looking good, feeling great and controlling your weight, by changing your habits from good to bad.

Here's why the health experts say a little, easy and simple exercise is important:

High-Risk Inactivity
Study: Poor Fitness Deadlier Than Smoking, Diabetes, Heart Diseases

By Brian Reid
Special to The Washington Post
Tuesday, March 26, 2002; Page HE01

Poor physical fitness is a better predictor of death than a host of other documented and widely feared health risk factors, including smoking, hypertension and heart disease. This finding is based on research conducted on over 6,000 older men published this month in the New England Journal of Medicine.

The role of exercise in improving survival held true for every elevated-risk group studied, from those who had had heart attacks to those with chronic emphysema and other lung diseases. In every case, the risk of death in the fittest patients was about half that of the least fit.

"No matter how we twisted it, exercise came out on top," said lead author Jonathan Myers, a researcher at Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System and professor of medicine at Stanford University.

Health Day News Sept, 2004

Despite the proven benefits of physical activity, more than 50 percent of American adults don't get enough exercise, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Physical activity usually decreases with age; women, people with lower incomes, and those with less education tend to exercise less.

The CDC says regular physical activity substantially reduces the risk of dying of coronary heart disease -- the nation's leading cause of death. It also lessens a person's risk for stroke, colon cancer, diabetes and high blood pressure.

If that isn't enough to convince you to leave your couch, here's another thought: Physical activity does not need to be strenuous to be beneficial. People of all ages benefit from regular, moderate-intensity physical activity, such as 30 minutes of brisk walking five or more times a week.

More Health Day News...

A daily walk around the block, a few laps in the pool, a vigorous game of soccer: studies suggest exercise is extending the lives of women who've survived breast cancer, even as it lifts their spirits.

"Exercise empowers these women with a tool that's there at their disposal," said Dr. Cheryl Perkins, senior clinical advisor at the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, one of the nation's largest organizations dedicated to fighting the disease.

Of course, exercise can be a tonic for the mind as well as the body.

"It simply increases your sense of wellness," Perkins explained. "It helps increase your stamina in the long run. It's good on a lot of levels."

And here’s some more ‘Good News’ for you.

Up until now you may have thought that walking might only help with some weight loss.  But there are so many more exciting ways that a simple walk can positively affect your life…

You'll look and feel great.  The gentle exercise will tone up your body and release endorphins.  The music will invigorate and uplift you.  The motivation and instruction will have you achieving your goals - you're a winner all round.

You'll be better able to cope with stress.  Because exercise is a proven way to relieve stress, you'll notice that after a few days with the 'ezywalk' program, the 'little things' don't seem to get you down as much.  You're achieving healthy goals in your life, which has a profound effect on your mental attitude.

Feel awake and have 'afternoon energy'. As a result of following the 'ezywalk' audio program, your metabolism will be boosted.  This has the very beneficial flow-on effect of boosting your energy.  So instead of afternoon lethargy setting in, you'll find that you're alert and feel more energetic.

I won't lie to you - if you haven't exercised in a while, you'll probably feel a little tired after a couple of days.  That's why I recommend you start slowly and gradually build up to using the complete duration of the audio.  After this slight hump, you'll begin to feel great.

Reduce the risk of these painful and life-threatening diseases...

  • Obesity

  • Diabetes

  • Heart disease

  • Hypertension

  • Stroke

  • Arthritis

Obesity Related Diseases

* 80% of type II diabetes is related to obesity.
* 70% of Cardiovascular disease is related to obesity.
* 42% breast and colon cancer is diagnosed among obese individuals.
* 30% of gall bladder surgery is related to obesity.
* 26% of obese people have high blood pressure.

There is a simple way to reduce your risk of obesity and these other associated diseases.  I know I keep saying it's simple and proven - but it is.

A 30 minute walk a day can you give you the required amount of activity to reduce your risk of these diseases.

Following this program gives you something you can do for life.  Because the entire program is designed by qualified professionals and follows proven routines, 'ezywalk' allows you to integrate walking into your daily schedule -  at a pace that suits you.

So now you can understand the very wide range of benefits a simple good habit of walking will have on your life.

And there's even more 'Good News' if you’re currently on a diet.

‘ezywalk’ is the perfect companion to your diet.

It comes back to the energy equation.  If you’re eating correctly with your diet AND exercising, then the amount of energy your body uses will be greater, and you won’t be ‘topping up’ too much with your diet.  So, you should find the two go hand-in-hand to help you lose weight effectively and long-term.

The 'ezywalk' program is also great if you're a diabetic.

Before I started using  the program, my blood glucose levels were around 10 mmol (180mg/dL)  (which is quite high), now they average around 6.8 mmol (120 mg/dL) which is much better control.

I’ve also lost over 15 pounds, and have kept it off for 9 months.  It took me 3 months to shed that weight, but by replacing my bad exercise habit with a good one - slowly but surely - I’ve been able to keep it off.

And it’s not just me ‘ezywalk’ is helping.

Here are some testimonials from others who are changing their habits and feeling better with ‘ezywalk’…

“WOW!.  This is really helping. I started with the first couple of walks, and am now up to about 20 minutes a day.  My weight has stabilized, so I’m really looking forward to using the full program to start losing weight.  I also feel so much better.  Thank you.”

Thanks.

"Using the 'ezywalk' audio has really helped me. I always have trouble keeping up with regular exercise, but having someone motivate me and have short, easy to reach goals everyday makes it fun - and I'm now in a regular routine."
